It’s seriously easy to sell with us. Here’s everything you need to know about giving your baby & kid gear a second life.
Payout Rate
We offer an 80% payout rate for all items valued at 800 JMD and over. This means that when your item sells, you’ll receive 80% of the selling price as your earnings. We believe in providing our sellers with a fair and competitive payout rate to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
Item Pricing
Prices are determined based on various factors, including the current retail price of the item, its condition, external third-party data, and historical data from similar sales. Our team carefully researches each item to provide a recommended price, but ultimately, sellers have the freedom to accept our recommendation or set a different price that they believe reflects the value of their item accurately.
Item Price Drops
If an item doesn’t sell within a certain period, we implement price drops to make it more attractive to potential buyers. Every 10-20 days, we decrease the price of unsold items by 5% to increase their visibility and competitiveness in the market. This incremental price reduction strategy helps sellers maximize their chances of selling their items while ensuring that they are priced competitively.
Unsold Items
If an item remains unsold after 120 days, we offer sellers the option to either pick up their item or donate it to one of our non-profit partners. Sellers can schedule a pick-up before the 120-day mark at no charge. However, if they choose to pick up their items after the 120-day mark, a nominal fee of $10 per item will apply. This fee covers the costs associated with handling and processing the unsold items.
Getting Paid
We offer a direct deposit payout option. Direct deposit transfers typically take 10 business days to show up in your bank account. Payouts will be automatically made to your account once an order is completed.
Accepted and Unaccepted Items
We accept a wide range of gently-loved items valued at over 800 JMD that are clean, functional, and in good condition. However, certain items are not accepted, including those valued at less than 800 JMD, broken/recalled items, clothing, and oversized outdoor equipment. Our goal is to maintain high standards for the items listed on our platform to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
Accepted
We accept the most gently-loved items valued 800 JMD and over that are clean and in working order (i.e. not damaged, unsafe or recalled):
- Strollers & Wagons
- Car Seats
- Bouncers & Swings
- Breast Pumps
- Electronics & Monitors
- Clothes
- Education and Story Books
Unaccepted Items
- Items valued less than JMD 800
- Bedding (sheets, crib bumpers/liners, blankets, changing pad covers without a pad, etc)
- Bottles & Feeding Accessories (bibs, cups, utensils, nursing covers, cart covers, etc)
- Any Broken, Recalled or otherwise Unsafe items
- Feeding gear (bottles, bibs, cups, utensils, nursing covers, cart covers, etc)
- Strollers and bike trailers that are more than 10 years old
- Items that are outdated or have reached their end-of-life
Seller Insurance
To provide peace of mind to our sellers, we offer seller insurance that guarantees a 50% discount on repurchasing the same items within the next 12 months. This policy allows sellers to consign their items with confidence, knowing that they can repurchase them at a discounted price if needed. The process for availing of this insurance is simple, providing an added layer of protection and flexibility for our sellers.
Seller Legal Terms of Service
By consigning your products with us, you certify that all parts are included and the product is in working condition. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless for any claims related to your products, ensuring that you take full responsibility for the items you list on our platform. Additionally, you authorize us to initiate credit transfers to your financial institution account, streamlining the payout process for your convenience. It’s essential to review and understand these terms before consigning your products to ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial selling experience.
